The list of budget smartphones with great specs is growing at a fast pace. Meizu Note 9 is the latest addition to this list. Meizu has launched Note 9 in Chinese market. It was earlier criticised for its futuristic “port-free” smartphone which was just a ‘marketing stunt’.
Meizu Note 9 will give a tough competition to Redmi Note 7 Pro owing to its lower price with almost same specifications. Here is a summary of Note 9’s specification alongwith expected price in Indian market. International debut of Meizu Note 9 is yet to be confirmed.
Meizu Note 9 Specifications
Note 9 features 6.2-inch FHD+ drop notch display. It has an amazing screen-to-body ratio of 89.23% owing to its narrow bezels. It runs Flyme 7.2 on top of Android Pie OS.
Meizu Note 9 is powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. Meizu has modified storage variants into 4GB+128GB and 6GB+64GB options. So you can buy the two variants at almost same price. You have the choice to buy 4GB+64GB variant too. However, there is no 6GB+128 GB variant.
The centre of attraction of Meizu Note 9 is its fast Snapdragon 675 SoC and 48MP rear camera. The smartphone features a dual camera setup with 48MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. It has 20MP selfie camera with AI Face Unlock and Beauty Mode.
The smartphone fabricates powerful 4000mAh battery with Type-C USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is no SD-card slot by the way.
Meizu has launched the smartphone in Chinese market. It will be available for chinese customers from March 11. 6GB+64GB variant will be available for CNY 1598 which is around Rs. 16,800. The phone is expected at similar price range in India too. No statements over international release have been issued.
